Noida, Jan 4: The IT Department on Tuesday raided several places owned by ACE Group owner Ajay Chaudhary, who is said to be a close aide of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav.
According to informed sources, the raids are being carried out at about 40 locations owned by Chaudhary including in Delhi, Noida, Agra and Mumbai.
Chaudhary is an estate developer and builder in the National Capital Region of Delhi. He is also believed to be close to Akhilesh Yadav.
According to the sources, the Agra and Noida units of the Income Tax Department carried out the raids.
