Kyiv/New Delhi, Mar 6 : With more than 20,000 Indians, including mostly students, having left Ukraine, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv on Sunday asked all Indian nationals remaining in the war-hit country to urgently provide their details to the mission. “All Indian nationals who still remain in Ukraine are requested to fill up the details contained in the attached Google Form on an URGENT BASIS,” it said in a twitter message, with the form attached. The advisory is part of the Indian government’s move to find out how many Indians are there in Ukraine still. Following their advisory sent in January this year, nearly 20,000 Indians had registered, but more than that figure has left Ukraine, including over 13,000 who have been airlifted to India on board the Operation Ganga flights. Around 700 are left in Sumy, while nearly all are estimated to have left Kharkiv.

Separately, the Indian Embassy in Hungary said that it is beginning its last leg of evacuation on Operation Ganga, and asked all students to reach the Hungarian City Centre at Rakoczi in Budapest today. It said on Twitter: “Important Announcement: Embassy of India begins its last leg of Operation Ganga flights today. All those students staying in their OWN accommodation ( other than arranged by Embassy) are requested to reach @Hungariacitycentre , Rakoczi Ut 90, Budapest between 10 am-12 pm.” On Saturday, the MEA said that over 13,300 Indians have been brought back on board 63 flights, and 13 more flights are to leave on Sunday. Of the 13 new flights scheduled, one is an Indian Air Force C-17 flight to Budapest. In all, seven flights would be from Budapest, two each from Kosice in Slovakia, Rzeszow in Poland and Bucharest
