Moscow, Feb 26: Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic have notified Russian airlines of the closure of their national airspaces for Russian aircraft, a source close to one of the Russian airlines told Sputnik.
“Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic sent NOTAM [notice to airmen] about the closure of airspace,” the source said. On Friday, the three countries announced their intention to close national airspaces for Russian aircraft from Saturday due to the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
