Belarus Starts New Command & Staff Exercises On Border With Ukraine
Kyive, July 12: Command and staff exercises with the territorial troops of the Zhlobyn district of the Belarusian Army are taking place on the border with Ukraine, said the Defence Ministry of Belarus on Telegram on Tuesday.
“The purpose of the military training is to assess the readiness of the officials of the formed military units of the territorial troops to perform training and combat tasks, to improve the skills of reserve officers in working at the command post and in leading subordinate personnel during territorial defence tasks.”
The training will last from July 12 to 14. They will be managed by the Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, UKrainska Pravda reported.
