Sindhudurg (Maharashtra), Aug 1: Shiv Sena Yuva leader and former Maharashtra Minister Aditya Thackeray on Monday said the 40 rebel MLAs and their leader Chief Minister Eknath Shinde not only betrayed the Shiv Sena and its chief Uddhav Thackeray but also humanity.
Thackeray said this to party workers at Kudal in Sindhudurg district.
Thackeray severely criticised the rebel group and said that if they (rebels) had any courage then there was no need to revolt and to go at Surat or Guwahati. He challenge all the rebel MLAs to resign from the Assembly and face fresh elections.
He said that Aditya Thackeray has given all to rebels whatever they wanted but they stabbed the party chief in the back.
On the arrest of Sena MP Sanjay Raut by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) , Thackeray said the BJP was trying to suppress Raut’s voice.
