Nitish announces support to Dhankar for vice presidential election
Patna, July 17 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday welcomed the decision to
make West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar, a candidate of NDA for vice presidential
elections scheduled on August 6 and also announced support of his party JD(U) to him.
Kumar said he welcomed the decision taken by BJP to make Dhankar, a candidate of NDA for vice presidential election scheduled on August 6. JD(U) would extend its support to Dhankar in vice presidential election, he announced.
Chief Minister extended his good wishes to Dhankar to emerge victorious in vice presidential elections. The decision to make Dhankar, a candidate for vice presidential election, was taken in parliamentary board meeting of the BJP.
Bihar Industries Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain also welcomed the decision to make Dhankar, a candidate for vice presidential election.
It was pleasant to note that Dhankar, a son of farmer would become Vice President of the country,
he noted.
