“Money Cut” News, Blatantly False: PIB

Lucknow, Feb 22: The Uttar Pradesh government has denied that people who fail to vote will lose Rs 350 from their bank account.

The Press Information Bureau said in a statement that this claim “is blatantly false”.

“The Election Commission has not taken any such decision. Please don’t share such misleading claims,” warned a PIB statement.
