Kejriwal Urges BJP, Congress, GFP, MGP Voters To Vote For AAP
Panaji, Feb 3: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday urged the voters of Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Goa Forward Party (GFP) and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) voters to vote for AAP candidates in the upcoming elections. Addressing a press conference he said,”I urge BJP, Congress, GFP, MGP voters to vote for AAP. We will construct schools, provide power 24 hours, and construct good hospitals.
Whatever we will do will help voters of BJP and other parties. Remain in your party but vote for AAP.” Attacking BJP, he said the ruling party had been protecting Congress and done nothing for eradicating corruption. ”BJP ministers have been accused of sex, power, ventilator and labour scandals. So many scams have taken place. BJP protected Congress. It accused Congress of being responsible for the mining scam but did nothing during its ten years of rule,” he alleged.
He said a bill would be brought in the state assembly promising 80 per cent of jobs to Goan youth. He pointed out that the Delhi government had given people a hope that basic facilities can be provided to the people. On drug menace he said, ”You need an honest government which gives free hand to police personnel. This will solve the problem.” Mr Kejriwal claimed that AAP works from Goa, not from Delhi. ”In Congress and BJP decisions are taken from Delhi. But it’s not in AAP. Now decisions will be taken from Goa, not from Delhi,” he said. AAP has fielded 39 candidates while extended support to one candidate for the Goa assembly elections which are to be held on February 14.
