While the fissures in the Congress keep widening day by day, there are some prognosis within the BJP which suggest that, the things there also are not so good either.
Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has in as many words expressed his disillusionment with the party he belongs to.
He has clearly alleged that, he has been used and later discarded as an obsolete coin as regards his position and significance in the BJP.
Gadkari was just sort of saying that, how has been in similar manner used by the party and then was sidelined.
Addressing a conclave of industrial promoters in Nagpur, Gadkari has been quoted by the media, saying that, how irrational is it to forget one’s past contributions and suddenly, in a huff, reduce him to an obsolete individual.
It may be recalled that, Nitin Gadkari, was dropped from the BJP’s Parliamentary Board sometime back, an indirect swipe at his own party which smacked of great disappointment of the leader.
Subsequently, in August 17, the Board was reconstituted, the Board removed Gadkari and Shivraj Singh Chauhan from it. Which obviously led to some situations when Gadkari has been heard airing views critical of the BJP.
