BJP Is Here To Serve The People And State: Shah
Lucknow, Feb 8: Union Home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that BJP is determined to serve the people and develop the country. After releasing the BJP’s Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra for the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls here on Tuesday, Mr Shah said that BJP has given the name of the manifesto as Sankalp Patra to promise the people about its announcement.
“Only BJP can take a resolution for any work and the party is not limited to just announcement regarding any work. BJP is determined for the development of the country and the state. The sankalp patra the BJP has released today is not just a manifesto, it is the resolution of the UP government,” he said while adding that there were 212 resolutions in the BJP’s Sankalp Patra in 2017, out of which 92 per cent have been fulfilled.
“In this 2022 Sankalp patra we will try to implement all in the next five years. We do what we say” he stressed. Talking about the achievements of Yogi Adityanath government, Mr Shah said BJP government had waived off the loans of about 86 lakh small and marginal farmers amounting to Rs 36,000 crore. “With this, about Rs 4.72 lakh crore loan has been made available to the farmers. A lot of work has been done for farmers and agriculture in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Prime Minister has done the work of sending Rs 6,000 to the farmers every year in their accounts, due to which small and medium farmers have got the benefit of being free from debt,” he said.
Mr Shah said, “whether it is economic development of UP, infrastructure work, good governance or welfare for poor or education sector, we have fulfilled all our resolutions in every field and we will continue this in the future also”. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that between 2012 and 2017, there were more than 700 riots in UP, hundreds of people were killed. Due to this, curfew was imposed in Uttar Pradesh for months. Traders used to migrate and daughters could not go to school. “Today, after five years, riots in Uttar Pradesh have ended. There is no curfew in UP today, but the Kanwar Yatra comes out with great pomp,” he added.
CM said that today when five years of BJP’s rule is coming to an end in UP, we can say that today there is rule of law in Uttar Pradesh. Today every sister, daughter can feel safe, he added. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the BJP has issued the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra for the next five years to make a difference in the lives of 25 crore citizens of Uttar Pradesh. “By working under this, we will make Uttar Pradesh the number one economy of the country” he added.
