AP Minister Dies Of Heart Attack In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Feb 21: Andhra Pradesh Industries and Commerce Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy died due to heart attack here on Monday. He was 50. Reddy was immediately shifted to Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad after he suddenly collapsed at home. The doctors there declared him as brought dead.
He is a member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Atmakur (Assembly constituency) of Nellore district for the second time. Reddy had won from the same Assembly Constituency in the 2014 election. Son of the former YSRCP MP of Nellore Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, the Minister returned to Hyderabad after his visit to Dubai to participate in the Expo on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh Government.
