The photo series of 32-year-old Thai graphic designer Nonts Kongchaw and female partner was shared tens of thousands of times last Thursday after blowing Facebook users with the gruesome take of traditional wedding photographs.
In the sensational footage, Nonts can be seen wearing a silver suit in various scenes in a cemetery alongside her partner, who is wearing a long white wedding dress.
One of the images shows the couple leaning against a column gravestone behind a sign that simply reads: “Marry Me”.
In a more daring pose, the Gothic-inspired couple lie in a coffin as the woman draws a silk blanket over Nonts, who is holding a bouquet, while another sees her visiting him while he is cremated.
The provocative coup caused a stir among internet users in Thailand, with many viewing the photographs as disrespectful, and others saying they would lead to a marital curse.
Commenting under the photo of the bride-to-be on Facebook, one user issued a terrible warning that read, “Seriously … Things like this have a curse … If you know how to do it, you must know how to fix it. . Playing with invisible things like that .. This is not a toy and it is not a joke .. Otherwise, disaster will happen … “
Another shared the sentiment, saying, “Please be forewarned, there is a mystical side to this sort of thing, everything about rituals related to death, end of life, all things are magic. and powerful. in any case, if now is not the right time.
