In the very recent past this has become a very upsetting political set-back for the for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Bihar.
On Monday, the signals from Jharkhand where the Hemant Soren led government won the trust vote, are clear that, the political think-tanks in the saffron camp get their political bearings re-set before an attempt in any other non-BJP ruled state.
“BJP should not have been in such a hurry over Jharkhand issue and should have allowed the procedures to go through” said Law Kumar Mishra, political analyst.
After the BJP’s Bihar debacle, heads in other such states have already taken precautions and on that issue Soren was also seen taking his guards.
‘The name of his wife Kalpana Soren to be tipped as CM, has made rounds in the media and the BJP should have had that realisation that, Hemant Soren was not on the defensive at all” added Mishra
So, Soren has taken the bull by the horn and scripted his strategy in a calculated way.
It is a coincidence that, in Bihar also Nitish saved his grace by joining hands with the RJD and enjoying support of the Congress. And Jharkhand it is more or less a replay where Soren sailed smooth through the turbulence with the help of the Congress and with supports from the RJD.
If Hemant Soren succeeds to survive the ‘disqualification’ issue then, that would be a big victory for him and, even if he fails, his option on Kalpana Soren can rescue him from a possible dissolution of the cabinet.
The two carpet-bombings from Bihar & Jharkhand were clear indicators that, Maharashtra model may not be the models for all non-BJP ruled states. That creates an atmosphere of defensive ferocity among all the political parties opposed to BJP.
On the other hand, Nitish has already started the movements for an opposition togetherness and BJP is already in a jitter following AAP ‘s fresh adventure in Gujarat and that too, in the back drop of a dismal CBI raid on Manidh Sisodia which has taken AAP trust a notch higher.
