Berhampur: A woman attempted self immolation on the premises of the SDJM Court in Berhampur on Friday. She was rescued by a constable with the help of other people present there.
The woman identified as Jarana Swain (30) had entered the court premises at around 11.45 am and tried to set herself on fire. Constable Rasmi Ranjan Das, who was posted for security of SDJM Berhampur, stopped her and rescued her immediately.
