Mayurbhanj, Feb 14: Amid the world being worried about global warming and destruction of nature a ward member candidate of Mayurbhanj Haldipaala has chosen an innovative way to seek votes from people keeping an eye upon the deteriorating environmental conditions.
Rakesh Kumar Das, a ward member candidate of Haldipal panchayat, is asking for votes by distributing trees. The ward member candidate is walking from door to door carrying the saplings of various trees in the trolley.
Rakesh, a ward member candidate from Ward No. 4 of Haldipal Gram Panchayat in Morada block of the district, is campaigning impactfully with assigned symbol of a boy planting saplings.
