Stage Set For Puri Rath Yatra 2022
Puri, June 30: Excitement among devotees has reached peak as they will be participating in Lord Jagannath’s divine journey, popularly called Rath Yatra, in Puri.
It is going to be a memorable reunion of devotees with the Lord as participation of devotees in the festival has been allowed this time after a gap of two years.
Devotees were not allowed to participate in the Rath Yatra due to Covid-19 restrictions clamped by the government.
All three chariots re lined up before the Jagannath temple. Lakhs of devotees, who have already reached the Holy Town, will pull the three gigantic chariots of –Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra on Badadanda (Grand Road) tomorrow (July 1).
On Thursday, servitors of Srimandir in Puri performed the ‘Agyan Mala Bije’ rituals for the three chariots ahead of the world-famous Rath Yatra on July 1.
