Baripada: The Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha reopened for tourists after a gap of four and a half months on Tuesday.
Visitors can enter the Similipal Tiger Reserve from two gates – Kaliani gate in Jashipur block under Karanjia (North) Wildlife Division and Pithabata gate under Baripada Territorial Forest Division.
As many as 35 and 25 tourist vehicles will be allowed from the Kaliani and Pithabata gates, respectively.
Tourists can book tickets between 6 am to 9 am. For overnight stay at Similipal, guest houses can be booked at www.ecotourodisha.com.
