Puri: President To Inaugurate Religious Function On Feb’ 20
Bhubaneswar, Feb 8: President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in Puri on February 19 and return the next day, stated media reports.
Even though the Puri district administration is yet to issue an official statement on the President’s visit, the media reports suggested Kovind will attend a religious program here on February 20.
President will inaugurate a program to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad at the Saradhabali Ground in Puri.
Also, President will visit the birth place of Srila Prabhupad at Shree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math at 10:30 AM. He will thereafter attend the inaugural function at the Saradhabali Ground.
During his visit, Kovind is likely to visit the Shree Jagannatha Temple to pay obeisance to the deities.
The media reports also stated the Puri district administration has begun preparatory work in view of the President’s visit.
President Ram Nath Kovind, accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind paid visit to Odisha for three days in March 2021.
