Photos Of Srimandir’s Sanctum Sanctorum Go Viral, One Held
Bhubaneswar: Singhadwar Police in Puri have arrested a Bangladeshi national for taking pictures of the sanctum sanctorum of the Shree Jagannath Temple and making it viral on social media.
The action was taken based on the complaint of VS Chandrasekhar Rao, Administrator (Security) of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
The youth identified as Akash Chowdhury (23), a resident of East Zinda Bazar in Sylhet District of Bangladesh, had taken photos of the sanctum sanctorum and had posted those on his Facebook account.
He had wrote in Bengali, “this moment of my life is unforgettable. I have had the darshan of Lord Jagannath.” However, he deleted the post after the photos went viral.
