Bhubaneswar, Mar 29: The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) got a new nomenclature as it now has been renamed as Paradip Port Authority (PPA).
The nomenclature has done under the provisions of the Major Port Authorities Act (MPA), 2021. The maiden Board meeting of Paradip Port Authority was convened on Monday under the Chairmanship of Shri P. L. Haranadh at Paradip Port Administrative Building. The board has accepted the Chairman’s proposal of nomenclature under the MPA, 2021 provisions.
After the new name has been granted by all the Secretary of Paradip Port, P. N. Behekar, sent an official circular to all Departmental Heads and all the Stake-holders of the Port about the New Name and launched the new official Logo.
