Balasore: Over 800 cattle being allegedly trafficked in eight containers from Odisha to West Bengal were rescued from two separate places in Balasore district late Friday night.
Acting on a tip-off, Jaleswar Police conducted a raid and seized five containers near Lakshminath toll plaza and three containers from Beligopinathpur village.
Police also detained four persons and further investigation into the matter in underway.
