In thirty districts of Odisha the polling for the Panchayats in 68 blocks is going to be held today i.e on Friday.
In 187 Parishad zones, 1514 ‘panchayats’ people will vote for Sarpanchs, and Samiti members and ward members will be elected.
The votes to be cast is around 61 lakh, ten thousand and 938 and in total two lakh 35 thousand thousand and 516 voters will exercise their franchise in the second phase.
A tight security arrangement for the polling is in place in every location of the state.
