Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 4,842 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, including 671 children below 18 years of age, taking the active caseload to 58533.
Out of the new cases, 2,809 are in quarantine and 2,033 are local contacts, Information & Public Relations Department informed.
A total of 63,871 samples were tested in the state in the past 24 hours. The daily test positivity rate (TPR) now stands at 7.58%.
