Odisha Commemorates 87th Utkal Diwas, Prez, PM, CM Extend Wishes
Bhubaneswar, Apr 1: Odisha is celebrating its 87th Foundation Day on Friday to commemorate the formation of the State as a separate statehood with addition of Koraput and Ganjam from Madras Presidency on April 1, 1936. President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended their greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Utkal Diwas.
Taking to twitter, President emphasized on how Odisha gave the world a message of peace and love, shunning violence.

Modi praised the immense contribution of the people of Odisha to the country’s growth. Praising the state’s cultural heritage, he wished a bright future for Odisha.
