People are being deceived by a link called ‘Valentine’s Day Offer’. Mumbai Police has now issued an alert in this regard (Mumbai Police alert on Valentine’s Day Taj Gift Card fake message).

When any festivals are approaching, many hotels launch different types of offers to attract customers. By doing so, they not only advertise their hotel, but also offer a lot of gift vouchers for profit. For the past few days, coupons from Mumbai’s Taj Hotel have been going viral on social media and on WhatsApp. This coupon claims a stay in Taj Hotel for 7 days for free. As soon as the message went viral, the Taj Hotel also issued a statement, declaring the message as false.

The claims were denied on Taj’s official Twitter account. The Taj Hotel said in a tweet, “We have noticed that a website is promoting Valentine’s Day, offering the opportunity to stay in the Taj.” We would like to inform you that Taj Hotels / IHCL has not made any such offer. We urge you to take care of this”.

Mumbai Police(Cyber) has also issued a statement in this regard and asked the people to remain vigilant. The statement said, “A message about a free gift card or coupon is going viral on social media on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. I urge you all not to believe such rumors at all. Also, don’t click on any link from an unknown number. ‘
