Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: The Youtube channel of Odisha Legislative Assembly was operationalised from March 5 onwards. Very soon the Vidhan Sabha TV will also be launched, said the Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro.
All proceedings of the Assembly will be broadcast on the Youtube channel. Besides, a monthly magazine named, Vidhan Sabha Patrika will also be unveiled very soon, he added.
Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Patro said that the State Assembly has received correspondence from Centre over the establishment of Vidhan Parishad recently.
“The letter from the Union Government in this matter has been forwarded to the Parliamentary Affairs Department. The letter elaborates on official procedures for setting up the Vidhan Parishad,” the Speaker said.
