Nuapada, Jan 17: In a tragic incident, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan committed suicide in Komana police limits of Nuapada district.
The deceased jawan has been identified as Ram Prasad, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Reportedly, Prasad shot himself with his service riffle in the CRPF camp at Barkot area under Komana police limits today morning. He died on the spot.
Police on being informed arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
Further investigation in this regard is underway.
