Bhubaneswar, Jan 23: For sometime there has been a speculative yet bizarre circulation regarding the health of the chief minister Naveen Patnaik, That he was not keeping good health and stayed put to the residence.
However, on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Sibash Ch Bose the chief minister has rubbished the notional misinformation by appearing in a video where he could be seen paying his tributes to the great freedom fighter at Naveen Niwas.
At the same time he has offered floral tributes to Vir Surendra Sai before at his statue.
In politics, many such tirades from the opposition can be seen normally but it amounts to be sordid if anyone tries to make politics out of someone’s personal health and well-being. Such observations are detrimental to the spirit of fair politics which has no place in the realm of civility.
Be a politician and practitioner of decency in life, Naveen Patnaik has the penchant for sobriety and always tries to ignore unhealthy politics either in words or in his actions. Deeds are the best answers to injurious words, is what his stature in Indian politics has made him stand taller than many.
