Keonjhar, Mar 20: 3 Children sustained critical injury in an unfortunate fall into a molten tar container at Kankana village under Bamebari police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district, today. Critically injured kids were rushed to hospital soon and are now under observation.
According to reports, the coal-tar container was placed along-side the village road construction work. The children playing near by the container had fallen accidentally into it.
The villagers rescued the trio after a risky effort and brought them to near-by hospital.
Kankana villagers alleged that the container was not covered by the concerned contractor, for which the mishap took place.
