Bhubaneswar, July 4: Four private bus passengers were injured when the vehicle caught fire near Baramunda bus stand here on Monday.
Sources said one of the tyres of the bus coming from Berhampur in Odisha’s Ganjam district burst and the vehicle collided with the bridge leading to a fire in the engine.
The panicky passengers soon alighted from the bus and ran for shelter. The firemen rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.
However, four passengers sustained minor injuries in the mishap and were admitted to a nearby hospital.
