In view of the new menace of the Covid variant Omicron,steps are being taken to arrest any possible spread of the deadly variant from further ramification. Mainly in educational institutes where the gatherings are common.
The Summative-1 for Matriculation and Plus-II exams will be held as per COVID-19 guidelines across Odisha, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said today. The Minister requested students to come to schools with face masks and also maintain social distancing.
As per the guidelines issued by the Centre and the State, we need to use masks to keep ourselves safe from COVID. The upcoming exams will be held with strict adherence to COVID guidelines, the Minister said, referring to the rising number of COVID cases in several foreign countries.
On Saturday, the State government issued a fresh Covid-19 advisory amid Omicron sub-variant BF.7 scare. This sub-variant has spread alarmingly in China, the US, the UK, and European nations such as Belgium, Germany, France, and Denmark.
