Nuapada: A herd of wild elephant entered Mahalingpada in Bisibahal village under Komna block of Nuapada district scaring the locals on Saturday
However, forest department officials reached the spot and warned the locals to not use any kind of firecrackers to drive away the elephants.
The herd seems to be moving from Komna forest range to Balangir forest range. They take this route to reach their destination.
After being alerted about the movement of the elephants, the power supply has been switched off by the electricity department. The herd did not cause any damage.
