Bhubaneswar: The Deep Depression over Bangladesh (Remnant of Cyclonic Storm “SITRANG” moved north-northeastward with a speed of 20 kmph during the past 6 hours and further weakened into a Depression and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of October 25 over northeast Bangladesh and neighborhood about 150 km northeast of Dhaka, 90 km north-northeast of Agartala, and 100 km south-southwest of Shillong.
It is very likely to continue to move north-northeastwards and weaken into a well marked low pressure area during the next 6 hours. Rough sea conditions are likely to prevail over North Bay of Bengal and along and off Bangladesh coast till noon of October 25. Fishermen are advised not to venture into north Bay of Bengal, along and off West Bengal & Bangladesh coasts till noon of October 25.
