Khordha: A passenger bus overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to dense fog on National Highway 57 near Baghmari in Khordha district in the wee hours of Friday.
Reportedly, the bus was on its way from Balangir to Khordha. Due to dense fog, the bus driver was not able to see the road and drove it into a farmland near Baghmari petrol pump. As a result, the bus overturned.
Locals and Baghmari Police rescued the passengers. 10 injured passengers were admitted to Khordha district headquarters hospital. Two critical patients were taken to Bhubaneswar.
