It is huge, huge moral boost for the Home Guards in the state that the chief minister, Naveen Patnaik has once again demonstrated his compassion for the ground level government workers in Odisha.
The chief minister on Sunday has effected a whopping rise in the Home Guards’ duty call up allowances. From Rs. 9000 it has been increased to Rs. 12,000 and 480 in the duty call up allowance.
It was a decision from none other than the chief minister himself when after a meeting headed by the chief secretary, the CM has ordered the hike.
Good news that the Home guards in the state will continue to avail other benefits that they were getting.
The chief minister’s decision has come as a colossal morale booster for the Home Guards on the state, those who  have heaped their gratitude for the chief minister’s benevolence.
