Brajarajnagar Bypoll, June 3: The counting of votes for the bypoll to Brajarajnagar Assembly constituency in Jharsuguda district has commenced from today.
14 tables have been put in place for the counting process. Three staff have been allotted for each table for the counting process which will take place in 20 rounds. Around 60 counting personnel have been deployed for purpose. The counting is expected to be finished around 3 pm and the final result will be declared today. A total of 11 candidates including BJD’s Alaka Mohanty, BJP’s Radharani Panda and Congress’ Kishore Chandra Patel are three big names in fray for the high-voltage election.
BJD way ahead of rival parties with 48428 votes, BJP 11579 and Congress 11714 votes after 10th round of counting.
