Sundargarh: In a yet another alarming update, at least 53 more students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Sargipalli in Sundargarh district of Odisha have tested positive for Covid-19 today.
Reportedly, with addition of 53 fresh positive cases detected from the school today, the total number of Covid-19 infectees in the educational institution has risen to 98.
Notably, 36 students of the school had tested positive for the virus yesterday.
Sundargarh Sub Collector Abhimanyu Behera has informed that the school campus has been declared as a micro containment zone and the infected students have been kept in isolation at the school’s hostel.
