Air Asia Emergency Landing : Passenger On Board Suffering From Breathing Issues Dies
Bhubaneswar: Yesterday, an Air Asia flight from Chennai- Ranchi had to make an emergency landing in Bhubaneswar as a man had difficulty in breathing.
The patient was immediately rushed to Capital Hospital. But, in the morning reports suggest that he has breathed his last.
According to Airport Director Dr. Pravat Ranjan Beuria, flight no.i5 -1531 of the Air Asia was on its way to Chennai from Ranchi.
However, it made an emergency landing after a 40-year-old passenger named Basant Kumar Paswan was unable to breathe as informed by the Air traffic controller (ATC).
Paswan along with three members of his family was offloaded after the flight safely landed at the airport, informed Beuria adding that the sick passenger was soon rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment.
According to latest reports, the man has died while being treated at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Later, the Air Asia flight left the Bhubaneswar Airport for its destination.
