India would lead the world in the days to come. And the world would be one or World Is One.
It is initiative by the World Leadership Academy(WLA). And it is in association with the famous KITT Deemed to be University on 5th February 2022.
Honourable Union minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that, India was the world leader in the ancient days and it will again lead the world in the 21st century.
It is for all to see that, “India has a rich culture, heritage, literature, history and values. People from all over the world came to India to get knowledge when we had world famed institutions like Nalanda and Takshsila . India believes in ‘Vasudeva Kutukbakam’ policy- it is the Indian Culture. We see the entire world as a family. The World Leadership Academy will act as a platform to create leaders in various sectors of culture, heritage to science and technology” he said.
World is one and that was the central concept behind everything. Speaking at the occasion, Ram Madhav, eminent thinker and writer said, “the world is one from the perspective of geology, sociology and other branches of knowledge. While the ‘ world is one’ is a piece of common knowledge, wisdom is needed to keep it one, he said.
Taking a honest swipe at the trend in many places, Madhav further said that “ Educational institutions should not be factories of degrees and certificates. The real purpose of education is to impart wisdom and values. We need people who can keep the world one and keep humanity going on. Educational institutions should not only prepare students to earn their livelihood, but also inculcate human values which can transform lives” Madhav added.
Speaking at the occasion, the Founder of KITT and KISS said, ‘KIIT is based on humanity and compassion since its inception. It practices the core values of humanity and compassion in the true sense’ Dr Achyut Samanta.
Prof K K Agarwal, Chairman National Board Of Accreditation said, “knowledge is one, so the ‘world is one’ should be in our thought , process”.
Speaking earlier Prof Sasmita Rani Samanta, VC KIIT-DU & President, World Leader Academy said, WLA is established to bring people, culture, ideas, technologies, teachers, students, researchers , investors, innovators together who are committed to transform the world for the establishment of peace, justice and sustainable development.
WLA’s ‘L-Index, indexing English as well as regional language journals, free access digital library, project Data-base were also launched at the occasion.
