Pune Jan 21 : Senior women from Pune performed a special arti at Ganpati temples on occasion of Sankasthi Chaturthi and prayed for fast recovery of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar here on Friday.
Lata Mangeshkar is undergoing treatment at the hospital where her condition is said to be stable.

Ganpati temple near Dhobighat (Dhobighat Mitra Mandal) in Pune on Friday was the scene of prayers on the occasion of Sankastha Chaturthi where senior women prayed for the speedy recovery of Lata Mangeshkar, said Sushil Rathod a senior photo journalist.
These senior women performed Pooja Archana and Aarti of Bappa and prayed to Bappa. “Bappa, heal our Lata Didi soon”, the women prayed.
Meanwhile a statement issued by the Mangeshkar family has appealed to the people not give wind to any false news. Lata Didi is in the ICU under treatment and is being treated by Dr Pratit Samdani and his team of doctors.
The family and the doctors need their space. Let us pray for Lata Didi’s speedy recovery and home coming
