Students Stranded In Ukraine, To Be Airlifted Soon: Gadkari

Nagpur, Feb 25: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday said that students stranded in Ukraine after the Russian invasion, will be airlifted very soon.

Speaking to reporters here, Gadkari said Indian students, who had gone to Ukraine for medical education and have got stuck over there, will very soon be brought back home.

“We will bring them back all as soon as possible”, he assured. An Air India flight that was enroute to Ukraine on Thursday was forced to turn back following the closure of the airspace, he said. The central government is ensuring the safety of every Indian in Ukraine and they would be brought back as soon as we get the opportunity, the minister said.
