Prez Ram Nath Kovind On 2-day Puri Visit

Puri, Feb 9: President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit Puri for two days on February 19 and 20 next, District Collector Samarth Verma said. Mr.Verma said during his visit, Mr.Kovind will inaugurate the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupad Bhakti Sidhant Saraswati ,the founder of Goudiya mutt.

The celebration will continue for three years,Goudiya mutt officials said. The President will address a gathering of Sadhus at an open air pandal near Gundicha temple. As per the schedule Mr.Kovind will arrive on February 19 and visit Sri Jagannath temple on February 20 morning. The security arrangement for the President will be made as per security protocol ,the district collector said. This will be the second visit of Mr.Kovind to Puri as President of India.
