People Want ‘Bad Days’ Back: Adhir Ranjan’s Tirade At PM,Car@15cr And Flight@4500Cr!

New Delhi, Feb 4 : Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said on Friday that the people of the country are so fed up with inflation and unemployment that they are requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to return the ‘bure din’ or bad days. While participating in the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in the House, Chowdhary said India’s youth is facing the problem of unemployment. “Modi ji used to say that he will give two crore jobs annually and now in the President’s address he has said that he will give 60 lakh jobs. But what about the misery of the youth sitting idle at home in the country?” he said.

” Modi ji had said that good days will come, but today the youth of the country are asking Modi ji to return our bad days,” he said taking a jibe at BJP’s slogan given ahead of 2014 polls – ‘Achche Din Aane Wale Hain’ (good times are coming ahead). Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present in House when the Congress leader was speaking. Chowdhury said since 2014, the price of petrol has increased by 62 percent, diesel by 67 percent, and vegetables prices have gone up by 87 percent.

“You buy a car worth Rs 15 crore, buy aircraft worth Rs 4500 crore. How would you know how youth are being forced to be on the roads,” he said. Chowdhury also slammed the BJP for spreading a “poisonous ideology” in the country. “Due to the policies of the BJP government, the country has been divided into two Hindustans, which was mentioned by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi,” he said. He accused the BJP of trying to divide the country in 80 vs 20. “Hate is a very bad thing.

Fill the gaps between hearts, this country belongs to everyone,” he said. Chowdhury accused government of destroying institutions, and also mentioned the Pegasus snooping controversy, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and said India has fallen on different human development parameters. He also said that the rights versus duties approach of the government felt like they wanted to do away with civil rights. “After Congress free India, they want to create Muslim free India, and perhaps rights free India,” he said.

He also raised the ongoing India-China border tension, and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should tell the House about how much Indian land has China encroached on. He alleged that the Y Junction in Ladakh has been taken over by the Chinese Army and due to this the Indian Army is not able to patrol an area of nine hundred square kilometres.
