Panchayat Polls: Naveen Focused On Positives And Appealed All To Remain So

Almost in the middle of a hectic situation when the polls for the Panchayats are due shortly, the chief minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik’s way of injecting wisdom into the minds of his people remained a bit different.
While stating that all must be working hard towards a good performance in the Panchayat polls, the chief minister aired a sober yet important appeal that, since there is a trying phase of the Covid looms over all, he said, that what is necessary that all should follow the Covid related precautions and stay safe. Life is more precious, he underscored.
He reiterated that, for him each one’s life is more precious than anything. At the same time he reminded all the BJD members that, Odisha stands out as regards containing the menaces of the Covid and perhaps, he added, it has been best handled in Odisha than anywhere else.
He recalled the extraordinary initiatives taken by Odisha government through the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojna health cards which has an enviable outreach through out the state besides creating a safety net around millions as regards an ensured health security is concerned.
Something close to his heart, the CM reminded all that , his government’s concern for the Mission Shakti at this crucial juncture is the interest free loan of Rs.10,000 crore besides, Rs. 10,000 financial assistance under Kalia Yojna. Then the list was long and how his government has the inclusive approach towards all, people from pavements to construction workers.
He appealed all to remain focused to good work and ignore what the glib-talkers have to say. People are the best judge and would remain so, the CM recalled.
