Jaishankar Speaks With Indonesian FM, Discusses Working Closely On G20
New Delhi, Jan 5: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday spoke with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on taking forward bilateral ties, and also exchanged views on Myanmar and Afghanistan.
Indonesia has taken over as G20 president, while India will take over the presidency in 2023.
Jaishankar said in a tweet:
“Good talk with FM @Menlu_RI at the beginning of the year.
“Agreed to take forward our bilateral ties. Exchanged views on Myanmar and Afghanistan.
“Will work closely in the G-20 troika,” he posted.

The G20 troika comprises of Indonesia, Italy, and India – the current, previous and incoming G20 Presidencies.
