Kirtana told a news agency, “I had to cancel my flights four times because earlier I was not allowed to bring the pet back. I waited for an additional two-three days. Eventually I got a call from the embassy. I got the pet. allowed to bring the animal with him.”
However, Kirtana had to give up her belongings to bring back the two-year-old Pekingese breed puppy. She said, “The officers told me I could bring my puppy, but I had to leave my stuff. I said, OK. To me, my pet is more important than luggage.”
Kirtana said that she lived in a border area of Ukraine. So he did not face as many difficulties as other students did. Let us tell you that the students have to travel hundreds of kilometers to reach the Ukrainian borders.
