Ravela Kishore Babu Quits BJP

Vijayawada, May 16: BJP leader Ravela Kishore Babu has resigned from the party. He sent a letter to BJP Andhra Pradesh Unit President Somu Veerraju on Monday stating that he had decided to resign from the party due to personal and family reasons.

He thanked the BJP for giving due importance to him in the party and urged Veerraju to accept his resignation. Ravela Kishore Babu, quit the Railway officer post and joined the Telugu Desam party before 2014 elections.

He was elected to the Assembly on TDP ticket from Prathipadu constituency and he was inducted into the Chandrababu Naidu Cabinet. He quit the TDP and joined the Jana Sena party. However, sometime later, he quit the Jana Sena and joined the BJP.
