New-Delhi: India on Tuesday reported decline in Covid-19 cases. On Tuesday India logged 67,597 fresh daily Covid-19 cases.
The death toll climbed to 5,04,062 with 1,188 more fatalities, as per the updated data.
The number of active cases in the country has declined further to 9,94,891 comprising 2.35 per cent of the total infections.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 5.02 per cent, the ministry said.
The cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive have exceeded 170.21 crore.
Yesterday, India reported 83,876 new Covid cases and 895 deaths. It was for the first time in around 32 days that the daily Covid caseload dipped below one lakh.
