It is beyond human comprehension if the new found relationships outside the marriages are safe from the fallouts which shows that, according to the Mood of the Nation, is virtually not in gel with the common Indian psyche.
If one in four persons just find acceptance for Same-sex marriages. Which speaks a lot about an alien alliance born of a crude approach to physical unions.

India’s surrogacy laws also prevent same-sex couples from opting for it. The Central government’s plea seeking a ban on Same-sex has a point so, the judiciary which is constructed in some individual wisdoms not necessarily be viewed as just the right.
So, while Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code is scrapped by the Supreme Court as it was out of sync with contemporary values of gender orientation and viewed as a serious overreach of criminal law.
And about live ins
In Mumbai, about 50% of couples in the 22–28 age group are in live ins. Given the anonymity of Mumbai, it is quite easy to find apartments, especially in areas like Andheri, Wadala, etc.
What is more worrying is of these live in couples, about 70% break up within 2 years. Personally, many would recommend to stay away from such relationships. These are purely about physical gratification. If there ever was any intention of getting married, so many break ups would not happen.
The intentions those remain within the female partners are often that the relationships would end in marriage and a child. A house and a social bonding and not being viewed as outlaws.
But, normally such scruples vanish once the sexual passions end in a monotony of that. Which leads to discords and fights those became deadly like in a few recent cases.
What can be more terrifying examples than the murder of Shraddha Walkar or Nikky Yadav.
The details do not merit the repetitions given the gory pictures and one never knows how many such female partners get singed within or vanish to oblivions.
