Hamirpur (HP), July 31: Avinash Khanna, the BJP in-charge for state affairs said on Sunday that the humiliation of Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, doctor hailing from Himachal Pradesh was not acceptable and whatever the Health Minister of Punjab had done was highly disgraceful and against the medical fraternity as a whole.
In a statement released by the BJP, Khanna said that Dr Raj Bahadur is an excellent orthopedic doctor. People have to wait for his appointment for months and he was an asset for Punjab’s healthcare.
He demanded that Chetan Singh, the Health Minister of Punjab should be immediately sacked and Punjab Chief Minister, should direct his ministers not to act in such an irresponsible manner with the staff working in different capacities in hospitals and other health facilities.
Khanna said that the BJP would not sit silent and continue to fight on this issue till it was resolved completely.
